Trevor Foo has more than a decade of experience providing information technology strategies and solutions to financial institutions. As a manager of the Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP, Technology Consulting Group in Miami, Fla., Foo helps middle-market public companies, pre-IPO companies, private companies, financial institutions and brokerage and acquisition targets meet regulatory requirements and establish formidable security and IT controls to protect their businesses and grow their profits.
Foo has established IT processes based on best practices such as COBIT to complement the disclosure of internal controls and processes for financial reporting as they relate to Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 engagements. Foo performs and documents IT risk assessments to provide CEOs and CFOs a basis to have confidence in the accuracy of information systems that produce their financial statements, as is required in Section 302.
Prior to joining Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, Foo was the vice president of information technology with the Miami subsidiary of an international bank operating throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. He succeeded in providing technical and strategic direction to integrate IT and all operational processes including internal IT auditing.
