Kevin Holmes specializes in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 consulting, financial accounting, audit and business advisory services. He is responsible for the development of the Section 404 methodology and approach of Good Swartz Brown & Berns LLP (GSBB) in Los Angeles, Calif. Holmes has extensive experience in managing Section 404 projects for multinational accelerated filers, middle-market companies and private, pre-IPO companies. He has a broad range of experience and has spent more than 10 years serving companies in the high technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industries. Holmes has worked with established and growing companies in emerging and mature markets, with core expertise serving entrepreneurial businesses throughout Southern California.
Holmes began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1994 and joined GSBB in 2002. He has developed expertise with corporate acquisitions and divestitures, initial public offerings and private equity and debt financing transactions. He has a proven record of providing outstanding client service. His efforts earned him admission to the partnership of Good Swartz Brown & Berns LLP in January 2005.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Holmes earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a specialty in accounting theory and practice.
Holmes is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves on the board of directors of the College of the Canyons Foundation
