Ted Funk joined VonLehman & Company Inc. in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., in 1984 after graduating from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He also graduated cum laude in 1982 from Edgecliff College of Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in history.
Funk's expertise is heavily focused in providing services to closely held companies in construction-related industries. Funk specializes in accounting, tax and audit/reviews for commercial and residential contractors including general and subcontractors. Specialized services he offers are agreed-upon procedures consulting, job cost analysis, business valuations, job profitability analysis, enhanced financial statements for bonding purposes, completed contract and look-back considerations for tax planning as well as several other services related to the construction industry.
Funk is an active member of Construction Financial Management Association, Associated Builders and Contractors and the Home Builders Association. He belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kentucky and Ohio Societies of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Funk has achieved the designation of certified valuation analyst and is active in the firm's valuation practice.
